In a Jan. 3 news announcement, Adaptive Imports said Tally will “oversee the U.S. sales and distribution of Complex Rehabilitation equipment brands, including Jenx, Hoggi, Krabat, SafeSpaces, and HeadOvations. Missy will focus on support for Adaptive Imports’ national team of independent sales representatives, customers, ATPs, clinicians, and referral sources.”

Tally will also develop continuing education modules and support Adaptive Imports’ participation at the International Seating Symposium, as well as other educational conferences and regional expos.

Adaptive Imports noted that Tally received her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1998 from the University of Kentucky and worked for 24 years at Cincinnati Children’s Perlman Center, which specializes in supporting children with physical disabilities. Tally was the Perlman Center’s Clinical Coordinator for the last 13 years.

Her experience includes early-intervention work featuring a multi-disciplinary group therapy approach and evidence-based practice with parent coaching, early diagnosis, and task-specific interventions.

Tally also “was key in implementing a 24-hour positioning plan of care program that focuses on a detailed assessment into the use of adapted equipment to enhance the life of patients and families in all environments and throughout every stage of life,” the news announcement said.
